GYNAECOLOGICAL CLINIC

We deal with all women matters in a professional, reassuring and confidential manner. We have a dedicated and multidisciplinary team including consultant gynaecologists, specialist gynaecology nurses, physiotherapists, counsellors, phlebotomists and radiologists at our center. Referrals are mainly made by your GP or Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist.

You will have a consultation and assessment with the doctor. Any necessary investigations are arranged and any follow up appointments organised.

Our goal is to provide you with medical care in a warm and caring environment that respects your individual needs.

We have enough beds, including several private rooms and these private rooms are available for patients requiring isolation. Nursing care is based upon respect for the dignity and worth of every individual and we believe in quality care.

LABOR

Throughout each stage of your child’s birth, pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum care, Mara Health Centre works closely with you and your family.

At Mara Health Centre, we offer private birthing suites and a range of options that allow you to create a birth plan that meets you unique physical, emotional and family needs.

Our birthing suites and private rooms for mothers and babies are designed with the comfort and privacy of patients and families in mind.

For your comfort during childbirth, we offer a number of options to help manage your labor pain, with or without medication. Labor epidurals are available 24 hours a day from our dedicated OB anesthesiology team.
